Real Madrid has taken another blow on the eve of this season’s crucial matches, as right-back Dani Carvajal has suffered a serious muscle injury.
The season for Dani Carvajal of Real Madrid is over, according to Spanish media.
The 29-year-old defender injured the muscle, which he probably injured in Real Madrid’s 1: 1 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Carvajal missed Tuesday’s training session and medical tests showed he tore the muscle.
Carvajal was substituted by Alvaro Odriozola in the 77th minute against Chelsea and coming off the field was seen shaking his head in frustration, meaning he knew he had suffered an injury.
His nature injury is such that he will miss the rest of this season.
This season has been difficult for the Spaniard, as he has made only 15 appearances for Real Madrid due to frequent injuries.
