Valverde talks about Messi’s condition and the possibility of him appearing against Borussia Dortmund
Lionel Messi has been included in Barcelona’s list for Borussia Dortmund, but Ernesto Valverde has said he has not yet decided whether the Argentine will play on Tuesday.
The coach made it clear that the decision on whether Messi will return to the field at Signal Iduna Park will be made before the match.
“We will decide tomorrow [if Messi can play],” Valverde said initially.
“A few days ago we weren’t very clear, but the last training was over and he was no longer thinking about the pain he had.”
“It’s important to play without thinking about injury. He’s improved a lot, but we’ll see tomorrow, “Valverde said.
