Mbappe and Haaland aim to follow in Ronaldo’s footsteps and the relay of the best in the world could soon be passed on from Ronaldo and Messi to the new generation.
Asked by LiveScore to choose between Mbappe and Haaland, Ronaldo said: “It is difficult to pick just one player to say that this will be the best, but I think it is exciting to see the new generation of young players, like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, who are penetrating.
“Some players can have one or two good seasons, really great players are those who do this season after season and this is not easy to achieve. It takes a lot of work and a lot of dedication,” he added.
