Zidane: Juventus is still important to me
Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he still has ‘love’ for his former club Juventus and would not rule out a possible return when asked.
Speaking after the 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday, Zidane was interviewed by Italian media.
His former Juve teammate Alessandro Del Piero was also on the phone and Zidane was asked if he missed the Italian or Italy more.
“Both, Italy is in my heart, I spent five years in Turin and Juventus is still important to me,” Zidane initially told Sky Italia.
“Your future? Right now I am here, we will see”, concluded the Real Madrid coach, laughing with his friend Del Piero.
Zidane’s future at Real Madrid remains unknown, and his recent comments will certainly draw attention in Italy.
