A game to be forgotten by Arsenal, lose to Wolves

Arsenal lost 2-1 against Wolves, in a match that looked like Arsenal would win. But, everything became complicated for the Londoners when David Luiz was sent off with red at the end of the first half and in the 72nd minute Leno would also be sent off with red.

Arsenal lost a match that was in their hands. But the referral has turned everything to the benefit of the Wolves who had not won in their last seven games in all competitions in England.

The first half was completely controlled by Arsenal and Saka hit the post in the first minutes of the match.

Saka would have scored in the 9th minute of the match but the goal was canceled by VAR as it was out of position. After Arsenal pressure the goal for the Londoners came in the 32nd minute.

It was a beautiful goal scored by Nicolas Pepe who passed several players and scored at the gate of the Wolves. Arsenal continued their dominance until the 40th minute when Wolves started to attack more towards Lenos’s gate.

A quick counterattack in the third extra minute of the first half caused David Luiz to knock down the Wolves striker and thus caused the penalty for the home team. Too bad Luiz would be excluded from the reds game.

From the white dot would score in the fifth extra minute of the first half Ruben Neves, which turned out to be the turning point for the Wolves and they win this meeting.

With the start of the second half, exactly in the 49th minute, from almost 30 meters away, the Portuguese Joao Moutinho would score to reverse the result and score the second goal.

Arsenal tried to get back in the game and for this they organized several attacks but which were unsuccessful.

Things became even more difficult for the guests when in the second minute of the match, goalkeeper Bernd Leno was excluded in the 72nd minute.

Leno went out of the area to get a ball out but he removes it with hand which excludes him from the match. Despite having nine players Arsenal tried to equalize the score several times but failed.

This loss leaves Arsenal in 10th place in the Premier League with 31 points, while Wolves leaves the danger zone rising to 13th place with 26 points.
