Atletico gets another victory against Athletic Bilbao
Atletico Madrid has created a significant difference in La Liga with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Diego Simeone’s men recovered from the remaining game against Athletic Bilbao, triumphing 2-1 at Wanda Metropolitano.
Atletico started the match badly by conceding a goal in the 21st minute, Iker Muniain scored.
But, the locals reacted and with the goals of Marcos Llorente in the 45th minute and Luis Suarez from the penalty spot in the 51st minute, they managed to get the victory and full points.
Thus, Atletico has now gone to the quota of 62 points, six more than Barcelona and eight more than Real Madrid.
