Borussia Dortmund could sell up to eight players after a poor season

The stars of Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho are among the names featured in the list of eight people from the club from the Bundesliga that can be sold after the end of the current season.

Sancho, 20, was closely linked with Manchester United last summer and could once again attract the Red Devils’ interest if Dortmund pushes forward with his sale.

Haaland has also been linked with United, but the 20-year-old Norwegian striker has also attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Dortmund has struggled in the German championship this season and could lose Champions League matches next season.

Thus, the German club is evaluating the possibility of selling some star players of the team to raise funds.

According to German media WAZ, Haaland and Sancho are on the list along with Jude Bellingham, who was signed by Birmingham for an initial fee of 25m last summer.

Other names on the sales list include Axel Witsel, Manuel Akanji, Raphael Guerreiro, Giovanni Reyna and Mahmoud Dahoud.

Dortmund is currently sixth in the German championship and is 16 points behind the leaders of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich.

Recent reports have suggested that Dortmund could cut their asking price for Sancho by 20m.
