Chelsea gives lessons to Real, an English final in the Champions League
Chelsea have eliminated Real Madrid to qualify for the Champions League final. The Blues, in the final will face Manchester City, will be entirely English final.
Chelsea have given Real Madrid a football school by beating them 2-0 in the return challenge at Stamford Bridge to qualify for the Champions League final.
The Blues were more demanding from the first minute, even though Real also had their chances.
Timo Werner made it 1-0 in the 28th minute, after a ball bounced off the post after Havertz’s shot, which put Real’s defense asleep.
In the second half, while Real were looking for the equalizer, they left a lot of space in defense, but the Chelsea players made mistakes, however only until the 85th minute, when Mason Mount made it 2-0.
Thus, Chelsea defeated Real Madrid with a total score of 3-1 to qualify for the final where they will face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
