De Bruyne: Belgium lucky to have Lukaku
Kevin De Bruyne highly values ??striker Romelu Lukaku and says that Belgium is lucky to have the Inter striker in the national team.
Lukaku has 25 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions with Inter so far this season and is an additional weapon for Belgium.
“Romelu is a crucial player for us. It is always an advantage to have him on the team. He is one of the most complete strikers in Europe.” De Bruyne told a news conference.
“His characteristics allow us to perform well. The more players we have available, the better our chances of getting off to a good start.”
Lukaku and his Inter colleagues have been allowed to join their national teams by the local health authority of Milan.
Four Inter players tested positive last week and their game against Sassuolo was postponed, with all activities suspended for several days.
“Fortunately, he joined us after what happened at Inter. We are happier and more confident in ourselves with him,” concluded the Belgian star.
