“Euro 2020”, five substitutions and with fans
UEFA has confirmed that in the European Championship the teams will be able to make up to five substitutions.
The rule is already in force for the World Cup qualifiers that started earlier this month and will last until March 2022.
Five replacements have also been allowed in “Euro 2020”, which has been postponed for a year due to the pandemic that silenced the whole world for several months.
UEFA has also announced that it hopes that the fans will be present in the stadiums, but in the end, the decision will be made by the relevant authorities, who will decide how many can be allowed in the stadiums.
