Guardiola: When I see Bayern, I do not think we are the favorites to win the Champions League

Pep Guardiola believes that Bayern Munich is the favorite to win the Champions League this season, although his Manchester City team has received great praise in recent weeks.

However, Guardiola does not believe that this run of consecutive victories makes his team the favorite to win the most valuable European club trophy this season.

“When I see Bayern Munich I do not think we are the favorites. My goal now is to play against West Ham after three days,” said Guardiola.

“If people say we are the favorites, then we have to accept that, but we are a team that in our history we have only been to the semi-finals once. But if they say, ‘OK, we have to accept it,'” he added.
