Haland towards Bayern? Rummenigge: We do not need him, Lewandowski is the best in the world
Norwegian striker Erling Haland, with his performances has been put in the center of the biggest European teams, one of them being the Germans of Bayern Munich.
The transfer of the Norwegian captain to the Bavarians seemed a possible hypothesis, but Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in an interview that he did not understand where the rumors were coming from and that Bayern did not need a striker because they have Lewandowski.
“I do not understand where these rumors come from, but I can only say one thing, we have the best player in the world in the position of center-forward. Robert Lewandowski has a contract until 2023 with Bayern. I am convinced that with his professionalism, the way he trains and the way he takes care of his body, the end is still far for a striker of this caliber”, concluded his chief executive Rummenigge, not sparing the praise for Polish attacker.
