Hazard injured again, absent on Real Madrid’s match in the Champions League
Eden Hazard will miss Real Madrid’s crucial match against Atalanta in the Champions League this week, after suffering a new injury.
Hazard returned last week after a two-month absence and featured in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Elche on Saturday, but suffered another injury in training and will miss out indefinitely.
The Belgian winger was absent from training today, Monday, and Madrid announced that he suffers from another muscle problem.
In a press release, Real Madrid announced: “After tests performed today on our player Eden Hazard by the Real Madrid medical team, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the thigh. His rehabilitation will be monitored.”
This means that Real Madrid must try to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Champions League without counting on the 30-year-old on Tuesday night.
Real won the first match 1: 0 in Italy.
