Ibrahimovic fosters speculation: See you soon in Italy

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has almost confirmed his next destination, implying that he will continue his career as a player returning to the Italian Serie A.

The 38-year-old has been a free agent since it was announced that his contract with the American club LA Galaxy has ended. Following this news, many clubs in Europe were activated to provide Swedish services.

Italian clubs have shown the most interest, as both Milan and Napoli are considered two favorites to transfer. Now, Ibrahimovic has suggested that Serie A will be his next stop.

“I will join a club that needs to return to the stage of victories, that has to revive its history and that is in a constant battle against everyone and everything,” Ibrahimovic told GQ Italia.

“This is the only way I can find the motivation needed to surprise everyone again. It’s not just about choosing a team, there are many other factors that play a big role, like the interest of my family.”

“We’ll see you soon in Italy.”

Ibrahimovic had previously played for both Inter and Milan, winning the Serie A title four times during his career with the two gigantic Italian clubs.
