Italy starts with a triumph over Northern Ireland
Italy has recorded a comfortable victory (2-0) against Northern Ireland in the first qualifying challenge for the European Championship, ‘Qatar 2022’.
Roberto Mancini’s team managed to collect full points in the meeting held at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
The Azzurri unlocked the score in the 14th minute of the meeting with a goal by Domenico Berardi, who was assisted by Alessandro Florenzi.
The second goal was scored by Ciro Immobile (39 ‘), while Lorenzo Insigne was the player who donated the assist.
There were no more goals in the second half of the game, so Italy took three points in the first match of Group C.
