Juventus starts plans to rebuild the team, Ronaldo towards leaving

Juventus are making plans to rebuild the team, after another failure in the Champions League, and will talk to Cristiano Ronaldo about his future at the club.

The future of the Portuguese superstar at Juventus is in doubt now, according to Italian media, as the whites and blacks have failed to reach even the quarterfinals in the last three seasons.

The 36-year-old has scored 20 goals in 22 Serie A games this season and his current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2022.

Respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Juventus executives will sit down with Ronaldo to talk about his future, hinting that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star will leave a year earlier.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Cristiano may not be happy, but he knows that it is not easy to find a club that can guarantee him the same salary.

Romano reports that Juventus’ plan is to build the team around players like Weston McKennie, Federico Chiesa, Matthijs de Ligt and Wojciech Szczesny.
