Koeman casts doubt on Leo Messi’s stance
Even Ronald Koeman has doubts about the future of Lionel Messi.
He is not sure if Messi will stay in Barcelona, but seeing the history and the fact that the club has given him everything and he has worn all his life only the Barca shirt, Koeman believes he will continue to do so.
Messi is in the last year of his contract and there are rumors that he will leave with Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain who are interested in the 33-year-old.
“I do not trust them,” Koeman replied when asked about the latest speculation.
“I believe he is still a great player and continues to win games for us. I am enjoying the job as his coach. In every workout you can see his qualities, he is incredible. “He came to Barcelona as a child and I do not see Messi wearing another shirt that is not Barca.”
