Liverpool ready to go down in history, 2 games in 24 hours

Liverpool are ready to go down in history, though they do not want to, they are forced to play two matches within 24 hours.

Due to the busy schedule and lack of alternative dates, Jurgen Klopp’s squad will be forced to play both in the Club World Cup and in the quarter-finals of the English League Cup against Aston Villa in the 24-hour span.

The Reds, in fact, will be engaged in Qatar in the World Cup semi-final on December 18, while they will play Aston Villas on December 17 the day before.

This situation drives Liverpool leaders to throw 2 different teams on the playing field.

While at the World Cup “The Reds” will play with the leading players, in the confrontation with Aston Villan will join a team formed by youth.

The club’s decision was made public by the club’s leaders in early November after coach Klopp threatened to withdraw his team from the League Cup as he complained about such a busy schedule.

Although there were numerous talks on this issue, the two matches in 24 hours from Liverpool could not be avoided at a distance of 5500 km, but at least in this way the team’s participation in both competitions was guaranteed.
