Mauro Icardi proud to break Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record at Paris Saint-Germain

Borrowed Inter striker Mauro Icardi has said he is proud to have broken Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record at Paris Saint-Germain, becoming the player to score the 10th most goals for the Parisians.

The Argentine striker was loaned out to the club in Paris on the last day of the summer transfer window, as it became clear that his arrival did not belong to the Serie A club.

Icardi has become accustomed to life in France very easily and recently broke the club record, which belonged to Iber, becoming the player to score the fastest 10 goals for the club.

“I didn’t know that, but I’m proud to have achieved this and written the story for a club such as Paris Saint-Germain,” Icardi told PSG TV.

“I always try to be prepared and always have the opportunity for my teammates, with my runs and moves, so that they have some free-kicker in the offensive to follow the ball,” he added.

Icardi are on loan only until the end of this season, but PSG have the option to buy the 26-year-old for 70 million euros next summer.
