Milan ready to negotiate for Dalot with United
Milan reportedly planning to start talks to buy Diogo Dalot’s card from Manchester United.
The Reds have currently given priority to renewals such as those for Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contracts expire in June.
Calciomercato.com expects that the news of the extension of the contracts of this duo will be given at the end of the month while negotiations with United are also on the agenda.
The winger will be at the San Siro until June, but he is not part of Ole Gunnar Solskaer’s project at Old Trafford.
According to this media, it is not expected that there will be many complications in this transfer, as it had with the transfer of Chris Smalling last summer, as Milan hopes to transfer him for less than 22 million euros, much lower than United paid for the former Porto defender in 2018.
The 21-year-old is expected to replace Davide Calabria on Sunday, as he is suspended in the match against Spezia;
The report writes that Dalot wants to stay in Milan but Sevilla are also interested in him, so if the Red and Blacks fail to reach an agreement with the Premier League giants, then he will review the transfer to another team.
Dalot has played 16 games for Milan since joining the squad on loan last summer and has helped the Reds qualify for the 1/16 finals of the Europa League, where he has played six games.
His contract with Manchester United expires in June 2023.
