Neymar again decisive, PSG defeats Lyon
Paris Saint-Germaini recorded a minimal victory (1-0) as Lyon’s guest at Groupama Stadium in their sixth week in the French Championship.
The first faction of the game did not give away many scoring opportunities, so the teams went on a break with the outcome of the start of the match. Neymar had the best chance in the 23rd minute but did not make use of it.
In the second half, it was Angel Di Maria who was dangerous, but his shot hit the post.
The visitors’ victory was taken care of by Neymar, who took advantage of Di Maria’s commitment and beat goalkeeper Anthony Lopes (87 ?).
It was Paris Saint-Germain’s fifth win of six matches (including one loss) and is top of Ligue 1 with 15 points.
For Lyon it was the second loss, while he recorded two draws and two losses, collecting eight points.
