Neymar and Mbappe are Parisians and will never leave, says the PSG chief
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has insisted that Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will not leave the Spanish capital, saying they are Parisians and will stay at the club forever.
The future of the two main stars of PSG is uncertain because the talks between them and the club for the continuation of the agreements have not started yet, which will end next summer.
There have also been rumors that Mbappe has turned down several offers so far for the contract extension.
But PSG owner Sheikh Al-Khelaifi, speaking after his side advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after the triumph against Barcelona, ??insisted the pair would not leave.
“Mbappe and Neymar are Parisians and will stay in Paris forever.” said Al-Khelaifi.
Regarding Wednesday’s match, he stressed: “It is a great honor to be in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. I forgot what happened four years ago. It will go down in history, but we played and knocked down a great Barcelona team.”
