Ozil celebrates Real Madrid’s victory against Barcelona
Mesut Ozil may have left Real Madrid many years ago, but Real Madrid continues to remain in the heart of the Fenerbahce midfielder.
The former German representative emotionally conveyed Saturday’s El Clasico, of which he was once a part, and rejoiced in the triumph of his former club.
Ozil celebrated Real Madrid 2: 1 victory against Barcelona with a post on social media.
Moreover, the former Arsenal star thinks that Real is now the favorite to win the La Liga title.
“Amazing match. Big points, very big. Favorite for the title now”, Ozil wrote on Twitter.
He was also amazed by Karim Benzema’s goal, for which he wrote: “The best striker in La Liga showed his class again, my boy Benzi”.
The 32-year-old played 159 games for Real Madrid during his three-year stay, from 2010 to 2013, scoring 27 goals and 80 assists.
