Perez closes the door to Ronaldo: It makes no sense for him to return to Real Madrid
The president of Real Madrid and the European Super League, Florentino Perez, has closed the door to a possible return of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu, saying that it would not make sense for him to return.
Perez spoke in an interview with El Chiringuito on Monday night, explaining the reasons for the creation of the European Super League.
During that interview, Perez also spoke about the rumors about Ronaldo’s possible return to Madrid, dismissing them.
“No, it would not make sense for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Real Madrid,” said Perez.
Ronaldo spent nine years at Real Madrid before joining Juventus in 2018.
He left as the best goal scorer in the history of the Madrid club.
