Pinsoglio is not sure about Ronaldo’s future at Juventus

Goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio thinks Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Juventus unless something strange happens.

The Old Lady stands third in the Serie A table, 10 points away from the leader, Inter and there has been talk for several weeks about a departure of Ronaldo.

“It is a difficult moment for us, we need to improve, but there is a lot of negativity,” the third Juventus goalkeeper initially told Tuttosport.

“I think about 2010. I was young and we lost 4-1 against Fulham. The losses against Sampdoria and Napoli prevented us from finishing sixth.”

“Many strong players were at the end of their careers and the new signings were disappointing. There was tension inside the club.”

“Now Juventus has the best player in the world, some very exciting young players, a strong club.”

The 31-year-old goalkeeper is Ronaldo’s closest friend at Juventus and has indicated whether the Portuguese star will remain at the club.

“I do not know, but I hope so, he has a big impact.”

“He still has one year left on his contract. I hope and think he will stay. In theory, he will stay unless something strange happens.” Pinsoglio concluded.
