Pogba and Van De Beek return, but Cavani will miss against Milan
Cavani will not play again against Milan in the Europa League. Pogba, Van de Beek and De Gea are back.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has delighted fans before the match with Milan in the Europa League.
He has confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba is ready to play, as are Donny van de Beek and goalkeeper David De Gea.
But Edinson Cavani, who was reportedly ready for Thursday’s challenge, has felt some concern in Wednesday’s training session and will not travel with the team to Milan.
“David de Gea has returned after being allowed to leave due to the birth of his first children, while Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek have returned to strengthen our midfield.” he told the club’s website before the match against Milan.
He added for MUTV: “Unfortunately, it seems that Edinson has felt some discomfort in training today and does not feel ready to travel.”
United equalized in the first challenge with Milan 1-1 at Old Trafford.
