Portugal receive a victory against Luxembourg
With a result of 3-1, Portugal has defeated Luxembourg on the transfer, in the qualifying match for Group A qualifying for the World Cup, ‘Qatar 2022’.
The locals scored first through Gerson Rodrigues, but at the end of the first half Diogo Jota equalized the score (45’+ 2).
Assisted by Joao Cancelo, Cristiano Ronaldo turned the lead in favor of the visiting team (51′).
A cross from the corner of Pedro Neto was used by Joao Palhinha (80′) to decide the final result of the match.
After three matches, Portugal is at the top of Group A with seven points, as much as the representative ranked in second place.
