Real Madrid and Manchester United are considering the Valverde-Pogba exchange
Rumors of a departure of Paul Pogba from Manchester United are increasing and the most likely destination of the French midfielder seems to be Real Madrid, where Zinedine Zidane awaits him with open arms.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also admitted that there is no replacement for the “red devils”, paving the way for the departure of the French midfielder in the summer, also due to the fact that Pogba is refusing to renew his contract with the English club.
The leaders of the “red devils” have started working at the same time to find Pogba’s successor and the name they have put at the top of the list is exactly the Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde, who plays for Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old footballer counts 89 appearances with the Los Blancos jersey and has scored 5 goals, while in some of these matches he has been carefully monitored by the leaders of Manchester United, who see him as the ideal player for Solskjaer’s schemes.
Valverde’s card is estimated at around 50 million euros and Real Madrid are ready to enter into negotiations, as this could reduce the English claims for Paul Pogba’s card. Meanwhile in England they are convinced that the exchange agreement can be reached with the transfer of Pogba to Madrid and Valverde of 50 million euros to Manchester.
