Real Madrid would cost 80 million euros to dismiss Zidane
Real Madrid will face a cost of almost 80 million euros if they decide to remove Zinedine Zidane from their bench.
The Frenchman is under tremendous pressure after a poor start to the season in La Liga and a 3-0 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Spanish media have begun talking about Zidanet’s departure from the Santiago Bernabeu, while Jose Mourinho, Massimiliano Allegri and Raul are seen as followers.
However, the dismissal of the French coach seems to have a major financial problem.
According to the newspaper Sport, if President Florentino Perez chooses to act, he will face a bill of around 80m euros.
Zidane earns € 13m a season and has a three-year contract: € 39m in total.
The total of that contract would almost double in gross payments.
