Ribery wants to return to the Bundesliga
French star Franck Ribery has said he wants to return to the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
The former Bayern Munich star joined Fiorentina two years ago and his contract expires at the end of the season.
There have been rumors about a possible return to Germany or a move to Monza in Serie B.
However, according to the newspaper Bild, Ribery’s priority is to return to the Bundesliga, where Eintracht Frankfurt has shown interest in him.
However, the form and salary of the Frenchman can present obstacles in the deal.
“At the moment I only think about Fiorentina, I am important for the team,” Ribery initially told Bild.
“But I do not rule out a return to the Bundesliga when I end up here,” concluded the Frenchman.
