Ronaldo aims to get even closer to the historical record with Portugal
Although in the last years of his career, already 36 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to end his career without writing his name in golden letters on the list of every possible record in the world of football.
After breaking record after record with Juventus this season, he also surpassed the legend, Pele, CR7 now aims to become the best goal scorer in the history of football at the representative level.
He has so far scored 101 goals with Portugal and is very close from legend, Ali Daei with only 8 goals difference.
Daei with Iran has scored 109 goals during his career.
At one time, such figures seemed unattainable, but CR7 is very, very close to breaking this record as well.
The next three challenges where Ronaldo aims to score as many goals as possible are against Azerbaijan, Serbia and Luxembourg.
