Ronaldo, the only one to score for Juventus in the knockout stage of the Champions League
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored seven goals in the knockout stages directly in the Champions League since joining Juventus, but he is the only one to do so for the Turin team in the last three seasons.
The Portuguese striker joined the whites in the summer of 2018 from Real Madrid, but Juventus could not go further than the quarterfinals in the three seasons with him.
Since Ronaldo arrived at the Allianz Stadium, Juve have made six appearances in the knockout stages, two against Atletico Madrid, two against Ajax and two against Lyon.
His hat-trick helped Juventus eliminate Atletico Madrid by reversing from a 2-0 loss in the first leg to a 3-2 draw in the return leg of the 2018/19 season.
He scored in both games against Ajax in the quarterfinals, but the Dutch qualified thanks to an overall 3: 2 victory.
Last season, Juventus were eliminated by Lyon in the round of 16, when Ronaldo’s double at the Allianz Stadium was not enough to qualify him for the quarter-finals.
