Salah is “the Messi” of Africa
Mohamed Salah is the “Messi of Africa”, according to Bayern Munich number one Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Since moving to Liverpool in 2017, Salah has become a star in his home country of Egypt, and one of the most popular footballers in the world.
He has probably been the key that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool triumphed in the Champions League and Premier League after 30 years.
“In my opinion, Salah is the African Messi and of course he has the quality to play for the best teams in the world,” Rummenigge told ON Time Sports.
“What he has achieved can be compared to what Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have achieved with Barcelona and Real Madrid.”
Salah has made 184 appearances with Liverpool so far, scoring 116 goals.
