UEFA Champions League champions Bayern Munich have said goodbye to the race they triumphed in 2020. Bayern won 0-1 in the return leg but were eliminated after losing 3-2 at home. In the other match, Chelsea also lost 0-1 at home to Porto, but qualified for the semi-finals thanks to a 2-0 away win in the first leg.
Paris Saint Germain have eliminated Bayern Munich to qualify for the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris lost 0-1 at home, but thanks to the value of the away goals, after winning the first match 3-2, managed to qualify for the semifinals, although the overall challenge ended 3-3.
The goal of hope for Bayern was scored by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, pushing his club to believe until the end and create many chances, but unable to find the qualifying goal, ending here the adventure in the Champions.
Chelsea, like PSG, lost at home.
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea were beaten 0-1 by Porto at Stamford Bridge but qualified for the semi-finals thanks to a 2-0 away win in the first leg.
Chelsea will face the winner of the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid in the semifinals, while PSG expects the winner of the match Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund.
