Serie A
The date for the match between Juventus and Napoli is set
The elimination of Napoli in the Europa League means that there is now a date for their re-scheduled Serie A match with Juventus. And that date is said to be March 17th.
The match of the third week was initially set for October 4, 2020 and was interrupted when Napoli did not travel due to numerous cases tested positive.
They were stripped of a point and given an automatic 3-0 loss because they did not adhere to the pandemic protocol, but won on appeal, which means the game now has to be played.
This created a new problem, as the schedule was so busy that it was impossible to find a date to reschedule it.
Now that Napoli are out of the Europa League, this has opened a window, especially to be played on Thursday, March 17th.
This meeting is said to start at 17:45 and will take place at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
This will also be the date for the Torino-Sassuolo match, which would be played this week, but was postponed due to an outbreak cases.
