The season is over for Koulibaly
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has suffered a muscle problem and will remain out of the green field for at least two weeks.
The Italian team has confirmed that medical examinations revealed a first-degree injury to the right leg muscle.
The Azzurri defender suffered the injury at the end of the match against Cagliari, when Rossoblu equalized in extra time.
The Senegalese defender will be out for at least two weeks and will miss matches against Spezia, Udinese and Fiorentina.
Napoli hopes he will return for the final match against Hellas Verona, but it is not certain that he will recover in time.
The 29-year-old has played 26 games in Serie A this season after missing three games between December and January due to a muscle problem, before missing out due to the coronavirus in February.
