Tuchel: “We want the FA Cup trophy”
The 4th victory in a row as a coach of Chelsea came in the 1/8 round of the FA Cup with the Blues winning at least 0-1 in the transfer against Barnsley securing qualification to the quarterfinals.
Although facing a modest opponent, Chelsea suffered in front of Barnsley to catch the qualifier.
In the quarter-final round Chelsea will face another passable opponent like Sheffield United.
“I am satisfied with the qualification to the quarterfinals. We scored a beautiful goal, but the opponents became aggressive and could equalize us. We fought, as Kepa saved us on several occasions in the first half. I admit we suffered, but it happens in these kinds of matches and I do not want to be harsh on my boys.”
“Sheffield United in the next round? On Sunday they faced us, played with a lot of intensity. Such will be the challenge we will play in March. I felt that we would face them again, I am happy that this time we will play in our stadium”, declared the German coach.
