Thanks to the minimal 1-0 victory against Tigre in the final of the Club World Cup, Bayern won the 6th trophy for the 2019-2020 football season, triumphing in all the competitions in which it has participated.
Benjamin Pavard’s goal awarded by VAR was positive in the challenge against the Mexican team, with Flick thanking his players in the post-match interview.
“Congratulations to the team for this historic achievement, winning the sixth trophy within a year. It was the most beautiful and winning season in the history of Bayern Munich. We had some problems in the last few days, but the boys played exceptionally well. We are all proud of what we have done, what we have achieved is incredible,” said Flick.
