Who was Kobe Bryant?
A fatal crash with his private helicopter has tragically killed 41-year-old former American basketball player Kobe Bryant.
The latter was traveling with some of his friends when the helicopter crashed about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles, while local authorities confirmed there were 5 people on board, none of whom managed to survive.
Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978 and moved from high school to professional basketball, where he played with the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years, during which he managed to win the NBA championship five times.
During his glorious career, Bryant has been an 18-time All-Star, 15-time All-NBA Team and 12-time All-Defensive Team. ) in the NBA.
He is fourth on the list of the NBA’s all-time leading scorers.
Kobe Bryant bid farewell to his favorite sport in the summer of 2016 as he will be long remembered by basketball fans as one of the most spectacular and highly regarded athletes.
