After four losses, the Los Angeles Lakers return to victory at NBA and do so in a difficult transfer right at the Oregon Fashion Center to the Portland Trail Blazzers.
The Californians triumphed 120-128 by recording their 25th victory in 32 meetings and keeping the Western Conference leader undefeated.
Damian Lillard was the best on par, but his 31 points were not enough for Portland. The former scored 24 points while King James outscored 21 points with 7 rebounds and 16 assists.
It wasn’t the same fate as the Lakers, the other Los Angeles team that was defeated inside the Staples Center by the Utah Jazz with the score 107-120.
The difference in this challenge was made by Mitchell, who led the team from Salt Lake City to their 20th win of the season with 30 points. Clippers on the other hand who were not served Paul George’s good performance suffered their 11th defeat this season.
After four consecutive wins, the Golden State Warriors could do nothing against the Dallas Maverics and Luke Doncic. D’Angelo Russell’s 35 points were insufficient for the locals as Luke Doncic was simply superb in this challenge.
With another triple-double totaling 31 points with 12 rebounds and 15 assists, Slovenian talent led Dallas to a deep victory with figures of 121-141.
Even the reigning NBA champions win. The Toronto Raptors retaliated against the Boston Celtics for that deep loss a few days ago by winning by a similar margin of points inside TD Garden. 97-113 in favor of the Canadians were figures for this challenge with Toronto giving Kyle Lowry the 30-point lead while also surpassing Serge Ibaka with 20 points and 10 rebounds below the table. The Houston Rockets also returned to victory immediately, beating the Brooklyn Nets 108-98 easily thanks to a super-play by James Harden, author of 34 points.
